Catherine Davis

With over 13 years of specialized medical device recruitment experience, David brings deep, category-specific expertise to Device Partners Group — built primarily across the Australia/New Zealand market, with additional experience spanning APAC and the U.S.

His focus is commercial hiring — Sales, Clinical, and Marketing roles — within niche interventional and surgical technology, covering implants, consumables, and capital equipment. In a space this specialized, understanding the technology is just as important as understanding the talent, and that's exactly where David's expertise lies.

His core focus areas are Cardiovascular, Neuromodulation, and Robotic Surgery, with experience extending across General Surgery, Spine, Orthopaedics, Imaging/CT, Ophthalmic, and Diabetes. That combination of breadth and specialist depth means he doesn't just understand the roles he's hiring for — he understands the clinical context and technology behind them.

David is also exceptionally well connected, with a global network of over 20,000 industry contacts on LinkedIn. In an industry this close-knit, he knows that relationships and networking aren't a nice-to-have — they're the foundation everything else is built on.

When he's not recruiting, David can usually be found spending time with his young family, or out on the golf course hunting for lost balls.

Catherine was born and raised in southern California but spent 12 years living in Sydney, Australia, where she built her career in recruitment. Over more than a decade in the industry, she's come to believe in one simple idea: recruitment works best when it's grounded in real relationships, not just transactions.

She has placed sales professionals across the full spectrum — from early-stage startups making their first sales hire, to established global companies. That range has taught her that great placements are never one-size-fits-all. They come from genuinely understanding both sides of the table.

Her approach centers on partnership. With clients, that means taking the time to understand not just the job description, but the team, the culture, and what success actually looks like six months down the road. With candidates, it means honest conversations about fit, growth, and whether an opportunity is genuinely right for them — not just the next line on a list.

When she's not recruiting, Catherine can usually be found traveling the world, hunting down new restaurants to try, or chasing her energetic kids around the beach.
